National Children’s Grief Awareness Day

National Children’s Grief Awareness Day is November 21st.

Heart of the Cumberland is supporting National Children’s Grief Awareness Day by giving Emma’s Joy Bears to our Putnam County elementary students who completed a BEST Group this semester. The Putnam County school’s lead facilitators snuggled up 55 bears in the BEST Group backpacks for each student to receive. The bears were adorned with a green bow (Emma’s favorite color) by the American Heritage Girls (AHG), a Christ-centered character and leadership development program for girls 5 to 18 years of age.
