Someone in our community may be experiencing thoughts of suicide today—and a caring conversation could make all the difference.
You don't have to be a counselor or mental health professional to help. You simply need the willingness to listen, care, and learn how to respond.
Join an upcoming LivingWorks ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training), an interactive two-day workshop that equips participants with the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills to recognize when someone may be at risk of suicide and help connect them to safety and support.
Whether you're a parent, teacher, pastor, volunteer, healthcare worker, first responder, or simply someone who wants to be prepared to help a friend or neighbor, ASIST provides life-saving skills that anyone can learn.
By becoming a Suicide First Aid Helper, you'll join a growing network of people committed to creating safer, more compassionate communities and offering hope when it matters most.
Please Note: LivingWorks ASIST includes discussions about suicide and interactive practice exercises designed to prepare participants for real-life intervention. Because of the nature of this training, some portions may be emotionally challenging, particularly for those who have been personally affected by suicide. We encourage you to consider whether this is the right time for you to participate and to care for yourself throughout the training.
